Just a few short days before Christmas I found myself standing in an elevator at the Rebecca Taylor showroom with my beloved fake Ray Bans crumbled in my hands. Yep, a pin decided to fall out right then and there, in the most inconvenient place imaginable. I gave up my floor search the second the first pair of Giuseppe Zanottis stomped into the elevator with me, with my little bro (who was so nice to accompany me) laughing at me the whole time. Luckily, my lovely mother has great fashion sense, and had already bought me these perfect Carreras for Christmas.
I've written about Carrera before, and I still stand strongly behind their staying power. Bloomingdales has some awesome new black ones with reflective opaque lenses, but I don't see them online yet. Pick up a pair now and you'll be ready for the rays come summer (or if you're in balmy NYC, start the trend now).
